Shadows of Sengoku

A Japanese medieval fantasy setting by Ron Stratton

with the help of selected awesome individuals

     Shadows of Sengoku is a fantasy world, based loosely on Japan of the Heian/early Shogunate period, and influenced heavily by such disparate works as Avatar the Last Airbender, Jade Empire, Aegis Force, and pretty much anything starring Toshiro Mifune.  Here you will find (if we've done our work properly) samurai warriors, monks both ascetic and combative, wandering entertainers, martial artists, sorcerers, strange beasts, feudal lords, feudal ladies, a thousand varieties of tea, peasants both honest and larcenous, buildings made of paper, and rice balls.  Probably a lot of rice balls.  Oh, and is that a ninja standing behind you?

     But what will come of all this?  A game, most likely.  At the very least, hours and hours of geeky fun creating it.  So until it's done, sit back and enjoy the awesome!

  Nijuro - A young ronin with a mysterious past and one heck of a sweet tooth.

  Miki - An acrobat living under the shadow of loss.

  Toshio the Wanderer - Scalawag, con man, traveler in search of enlightment?  You be the judge.

  Hikaru - A handsome water sorcerer from the west, born of noble lineage.

  Yukibara - A retired geisha turned student of the warrior path.
